At the recent Local Action Team meeting it was agred that a working group should be set up to consider the issues around pavement parking along Elm Grove. The first meeting of this group will be on Wednesday October 12th. See email copied below for details. For background to this theme see this previous post.
The Hanover and Elm Grove LAT ( Local Action Team) working group on Elm Grove parking will meet at 7pm at St Martin’s School, Hartington Road, on Wednesday 12th October . This meeting follows the decision by the council to put a hold on enforcement for three months to allow a working group to consult with residents and relevant representatives from local bodies to try and come up with solutions to the issue of pavement parking in Elm Grove. It is hoped that all views will be represented at the meetings so good attendance by residents on all sides of the current debate is to be welcomed.
There will be further workshop meetings later in October and through November and December so if you are unable to make this first meeting there will be other opportunities to get involved.
I look forward to seeing you soon,
Cllr Matt Follett – Chair of Working Group
